This was a quick put-together outfit. I have found that when I am in a rush, I tend to go for a casual sport luxe kind of style. Not completely sure why, but I think it's because it's the easiest way to feel 'stylish' enough. It's weird, if I'm not content with my outfit, I tend to be quite moody for the day (which isn't ideal). But anyway, in this outfit I wanted to use my bargain Slip on sneakers from Famous Footwear. I have pretty chicken shaped legs (woo) so I chose to wear my favorite midi skirt from Glassons to disguise my awesome legs *coughs*.
With my type of legs, wearing ankle length footwear cuts off the length, and emphasizes its awkward shape so by wearing a midi skirt, it evens it all out. So for you lucky women who have nice calves - you won't have this issue! You see, balance always seems to be the number one key to styling. Here I've balanced my outfit using black leather. Black leather jackets work magic for any outfit I tell you! Gives a bit of oomph.. I chose to wear a tucked grey marble long sleeve to give my look a lift and bring out the olive green in my skirt. And lastly my piece of red bean bread was from Bread Top - I was giving my stomach some balance too (lols). Anyway, keeping it short and sweet peeps! Shop the look down below:1. Leather Jacket 2. Grey Tee 3. Ribbed Fitted Skirt 4. Ankle Sneakers (instore only)
Have a lovely week ahead!
