So it's been a while... And I do apologise to the many who have waited! I've just started teaching, whilst working at Nine West (cannot let go of the fun side of retail). My weeks are hella' busy, and I cannot seem to find the time for a lot of things! But, I think down the road I will learn how to find the time, like I have now. Any ways, so the past season I've been attracted to pattern blocking. I find it effective when you balance it with a block colour, like what I've done with navy.
Personally, pattern blocking should have flow. With my outfit, I've worn my white cardigan to lift the navy, then the navy blouse and skirt to lift the brown undertones in the leopard print. Just enough pattern to make the look edgey, but not too heavy. All of my pieces have a asymmetrical cut to add depth, and of course, skirts with a slit just make it a little more interesting ;).

My outfit was purchased from a variety of local stores such as Valley Girl and Tempt - and a lot of people who know me, know that I constantly buy from these stores (lol) which unfortunately do not have an online store, not yet anyway. However, don't fret! I have searched all over the web to find similar ones and work just as well. The Pewta Choker was made by yours truly - latest edition to my upcoming line of accessories. I will do my best to post every week :)
