Schools out!!! Happy holidays teachers! April has crept up so quick. Term 1 was definitely challenge and I have had countless ups and downs. I am here, I am alive, and sometimes it takes a big crash to come back a whole lot stronger and better. This year I want to bring more to this blog - include my teaching strategies and ideas that I do with my kids with disabilities. Yes I love sharing fashion, but I am also passionate about teaching. Keep on the look out for a new tab 'Miss Pomar'. ANYWAY! This post will share some bargains I have found for $20 and under!!! Of course, all from my favourite shop Valley Girl, and sister store Temt. 

Styling for less: After 5pm office look

I was cleaning out my wardrobe the other week (once again). I noticed how much 'office-looking-stuff' I had, probably due to working at David Jones for a year before I began my teaching career. Of course working at David Jones meant that you would have to wear black, everyday. Not that it was any different from what I wore out of work anyway (haha). Anyway, I was in the mood to mix and match some old and new garments and ended up creating one of my favourite ensembles for a casual night out. I paired up my high-waist wide leg pants I bought from ValleyGirl about 2 years ago with a black bandeau from Boohoo, and my Glassons sleeveless jacket. Oh the fun in recycling clothes!!

This week's post is a little different today. A few months ago I was surprised by a tag on Instagram - which was amazingly a watercolour painting of one of my looks! I was in awe of the idea that someone out there spent their time doing this, and more in awe of the skill Sina has. Sina is a junior graphic designer in Hamburg.

SO! It's about time I shared a lifestyle post - one about food, because food is life. There are butt loads of Thai restaurants everywhere and it's quite hard to find the really good ones. Kinn Thai though - ugh, on point. There has not been any point where I have said 'its all right...' or forced myself to finish the food because I hate wasting food. Every dish has been sooooo good. And by good, I mean tasty, refreshing, filling and every other good describing word for food.

This summer's top picks for beauty are all about hydration! I tend to have trouble finding products that suit my all over skin type, and that's including my lips! My skin type can be from dry to combination depending on the weather. My lips however are just super dry and can be hard to maintain. Here I'll talk about the pros for each pick and all of you readers can see if its right for you! Keep a look out as I will be doing full reviews on some of these products.
