The bag: Open Closet

26 Feb 2016

Updating the bag rack...

I have been itching to update my bag collection this year... and there are a few on my buy list! First one ticked off my list, and it's the Kelly Bag by Open Closet. It's the perfect size, great subtle grey color which goes with basically anything. There are three handy compartments and surprisingly fits a lot of my necessities. Check them out on www.opencloset.com.au

Talent: Sina Buck

Inspired by Sina Buck.

This week's post is a little different today. A few months ago I was surprised by a tag on Instagram - which was amazingly a watercolour painting of one of my looks! I was in awe of the idea that someone out there spent their time doing this, and more in awe of the skill Sina has. Sina is a junior graphic designer in Hamburg.

The Button up

Happy Sundays!

These past few weeks I have been particularly inspired by Seed's pieces in store. For those who aren't familiar with the brand, they are renowned for their simple and sophisticated style. I stumbled across their 'Button through tie' top in the city last week and thought OMG! Way too cute. See below!

The Vest

13 Nov 2015

Hello!

Another week gone. It is crazy how much time flies whether or not your having fun (lol). Report cards, verifications and non-stop assessment is what's been happening in my life. But, it's time to do something I love, and that's sharing my style with you lovely people. This weekend I am inspired by grey long line vests. This particular one I purchased from Ally Fashion but there are plenty of these swimming online. I will admit I have worn this baby way too many times in the past two weeks! I love it's simplicity, and the edge it brings to any ensemble. Ladies, you cannot go wrong with this one. Here are a few of my looks:

Sunday OOTD

7 Nov 2015

Hello!

Just a quick post to share with you one of my favourite looks during the transition into Spring. The time when I still get a bit chilly, but it ain't cold enough for thick coats. This was a casual outfit I quickly put together a few weeks ago for a family lunch. I finally found the perfect time to wear a light weight trench coat! During winter this trench was way too thin, but, the ease into spring has been a better match. Of course, what a better way to match up shades of grey with white which I think can never go wrong My grey crop was a cheap find from Valleygirl a while ago, but you can find lots and lots of similar ones on line (shop the look down below).

FOOD: Kinn Thai

16 Oct 2015

SO! It's about time I shared a lifestyle post - one about food, because food is life. There are butt loads of Thai restaurants everywhere and it's quite hard to find the really good ones. Kinn Thai though - ugh, on point. There has not been any point where I have said 'its all right...' or forced myself to finish the food because I hate wasting food. Every dish has been sooooo good. And by good, I mean tasty, refreshing, filling and every other good describing word for food.

Greys and Greens

Dear diary...

This post is a bit of a mixed-in outfit details slash 'deary diary' post. This year has been overly eventful - there has been so much going on, so many new experiences and realisations, and I have learnt a whole lot. I'm an Aries, and like other star signs we have our good and bad traits. I'm not a sole believer in all of that mind blowing stuff, but, sometimes I am amazed on how accurate those predictions/descriptions can be. One trait that they've got on point is how much of a worry wart I can be. I stress about everything because I unfortunately care too much. Doesn't help that I am a perfectionist. Although, this year I have trained myself to calm down a tad bit. Anyway, being the 'stresser' I am, I've gone through a whole lot of ups and downs, and a lot of the downs might have been amplified due to the type of person I am. I don't think I am a drama queen (I hope) - but it's safe to say I have considerably high expectations for myself and I guess some people just cannot deal. But I've gone through enough to know what I should settle for.

The Bronze Snake Shop

22 Sept 2015

My first trip to Melbourne I must say was full of both, fortunate and unfortunate events. Shopping was quite the same to Brissy, but I was definitely attracted to the boutiques. So many 'Melbournistic' styles. I was pretty bummed on the amount I bought, but considering the time I had, and the gender I was with, made it harder to find something...quick lol. Overall I had a great time! I will share my experiences in a lifestyle post soon :) Keeping this one short and sweet.
