The Bronze Snake Shop

22 Sept 2015

My first trip to Melbourne I must say was full of both, fortunate and unfortunate events. Shopping was quite the same to Brissy, but I was definitely attracted to the boutiques. So many 'Melbournistic' styles. I was pretty bummed on the amount I bought, but considering the time I had, and the gender I was with, made it harder to find something...quick lol. Overall I had a great time! I will share my experiences in a lifestyle post soon :) Keeping this one short and sweet.

Black leather

5 Sept 2015

This was a quick put-together outfit. I have found that when I am in a rush, I tend to go for a casual sport luxe kind of style. Not completely sure why, but I think it's because it's the easiest way to feel 'stylish' enough. It's weird, if I'm not content with my outfit, I tend to be quite moody for the day (which isn't ideal). But anyway, in this outfit I wanted to use my bargain Slip on sneakers from Famous Footwear. I have pretty chicken shaped legs (woo) so I chose to wear my favorite midi skirt from Glassons to disguise my awesome legs *coughs*.

Suddenly 30?

15 Aug 2015

Lately I've had quite a few comments saying that I dress 'mature' for my age. Not sure if I take it as a compliment, but I have had a few light thoughts on it. If I dressed 'my age' I wonder how I would dress? I can't imagine dressing any other way. My partner has said it's probably because I am a teacher, so naturally I dress conservatively. I like to think that my style is somewhat sophisticated, but either way, I feel comfortable in how I dress and I that's important to me!

Winter: Side split knits

5 Jul 2015

Hello helloooo! Yes I have been MIA for a long while again... It is such a struggle finding the time to work on anything else but work, hashtag teacher life. But as they say, good things take time, and time is what I'm working on atm. Anyway! Winter has been official for a while and oh damn am I feeling it! I've been attracted to weirdly cut pieces; and jumpers with side splits have definitely caught my eye.

High Necks

8 Apr 2015

I told you I loved palazzo pants! Here's another Sunday outfit I wore the other week. The focus: high neck tops! Like many others, I am part of, the itty-bitty-titty-committee. Nothing wrong with having small ones don't get me wrong, but, it is sometimes embarrassing and disheartening when I'm not able to wear certain styles that require a little more meat up there (lol). SO! This post I share with you one way I aid this dilemma.

Palazzo Sundays

29 Mar 2015

Anddd finally! I am back. It has been such a roller coaster these past few weeks with my job as an SEP teacher. It's true, if there is no self discipline, there will be no time for anything else! Which is why I have felt so sad that I have been neglecting my blog (all my time for creativity has been taken up by making resources for my students lol). BUT holidays are coming up and oh boy will I be bombing your IG newsfeeds! Anyhow, hope all of you have been well. This post I share with you my Sunday attires lately, which have been - Palazzo galore! Inloveee with the comfortability of these pants, and the laid back yet sassy style it gives.

So it's been a while... And I do apologise to the many who have waited! I've just started teaching, whilst working at Nine West (cannot let go of the fun side of retail). My weeks are hella' busy, and I cannot seem to find the time for a lot of things! But, I think down the road I will learn how to find the time, like I have now. Any ways, so the past season I've been attracted to pattern blocking. I find it effective when you balance it with a block colour, like what I've done with navy.
