Greys and Greens

Dear diary...

This post is a bit of a mixed-in outfit details slash 'deary diary' post. This year has been overly eventful - there has been so much going on, so many new experiences and realisations, and I have learnt a whole lot. I'm an Aries, and like other star signs we have our good and bad traits. I'm not a sole believer in all of that mind blowing stuff, but, sometimes I am amazed on how accurate those predictions/descriptions can be. One trait that they've got on point is how much of a worry wart I can be. I stress about everything because I unfortunately care too much. Doesn't help that I am a perfectionist. Although, this year I have trained myself to calm down a tad bit. Anyway, being the 'stresser' I am, I've gone through a whole lot of ups and downs, and a lot of the downs might have been amplified due to the type of person I am. I don't think I am a drama queen (I hope) - but it's safe to say I have considerably high expectations for myself and I guess some people just cannot deal. But I've gone through enough to know what I should settle for.

So it continues....I'm almost done don't worry.

In saying that, I still find myself working towards other people's expectations. Yeah I get tired of it, I get fed up with it but unfortunately that's how life works nowadays. I must say my resilience has increased and I've learnt how to pick my battles (being a teacher has helped). Ramble ramble ramble.... here is where it all links to my blog about fashion lol...being able to dress and style myself how I want everyday, to my own expectations, in my own way - makes me happy. I don't have to worry about other people's expectations, all I have to worry about is how I look like when I leave home lol. To be quite frank, my mood is set on positive when I leave home content with how I look. You've probably read this so many time before like I have, but when you feel confident about yourself inside and out, your so much happier (are you mind blown??).

So..... after all of that, here's my out fit details! My grey trench coat is from Forever 21 (instore only) - love it to bits! Such a sophisticated piece and it's breathable material is perfect for these warmer Spring days coming along. My high waisted pants are from Valley Girl, which were on sale for $19.95! I brought my look together with a simple white crop, a vintage brown leather belt and some nude flats from Rubi Shoes. Something sheik and simple for a family day out! Keep in mind that this day was quite chilly for a Spring's day due to rain clouds and wind. Links are down below!

Have a great weekend everybody! Peace out.
