Anddd finally! I am back. It has been such a roller coaster these past few weeks with my job as an SEP teacher. It's true, if there is no self discipline, there will be no time for anything else! Which is why I have felt so sad that I have been neglecting my blog (all my time for creativity has been taken up by making resources for my students lol). BUT holidays are coming up and oh boy will I be bombing your IG newsfeeds! Anyhow, hope all of you have been well. This post I share with you my Sunday attires lately, which have been - Palazzo galore! Inloveee with the comfortability of these pants, and the laid back yet sassy style it gives.

Love for pattern.

So it's been a while... And I do apologise to the many who have waited! I've just started teaching, whilst working at Nine West (cannot let go of the fun side of retail). My weeks are hella' busy, and I cannot seem to find the time for a lot of things! But, I think down the road I will learn how to find the time, like I have now. Any ways, so the past season I've been attracted to pattern blocking. I find it effective when you balance it with a block colour, like what I've done with navy.
PJ's Steaks
18 Dec 2014
After our touch games every Tuesday night, the team and I occasionally head to a nearby food joint to fill our starving stomachs. Since we play at Fairfield now, our new after-touch-eat-up place is in West end! To be honest I have never experienced dining in West end, but I know for sure it's full of hipsters and good food! We decided to head to PJ's Steaks one night. I believe the place is influenced by American, Philadelphia style hot dogs and fries; which is now becoming a trend in Brisbane (about time we caught up).
Dress it up Dress it down
16 Dec 2014
My shopping addiction began with my first part time job; working as a sales assistant at Priceline. I would blow out and literally purchase everything I could possibly want. My wardrobe was constantly changing and over months I had realized that I owned so much clothing that I no longer wanted – since at the time it was no longer ‘trendy’ or my style. As I grew into a young adult, my shopping habits changed…and for the better. Instead of purchasing one off garments, I go for pieces that are simple, easy to match up with, easy to dress up and dress down.
Summer Top Picks 2014
This summer's top picks for beauty are all about hydration! I tend to have trouble finding products that suit my all over skin type, and that's including my lips! My skin type can be from dry to combination depending on the weather. My lips however are just super dry and can be hard to maintain. Here I'll talk about the pros for each pick and all of you readers can see if its right for you! Keep a look out as I will be doing full reviews on some of these products. All three products can be found in your local drug stores or major retailers, but I have included links you can purchase each from!
Burleigh Heads
3 Dec 2014
Last weekend I organised a trip to Burleigh Heads with a group of close friends as a graduation celebration. Ohhh how I miss this place already! For those who have known Brisbane as 'Brisboring' for a while and have not yet visited this place? YOU NEED TO GO. And for those who aren't from Brisbane and are wondering where would be nice to visit, Burleigh Heads is the place to be. Not a big fan of beaches? Well, I can assure you it is still worth a visit! Perfect place to appreciate mother nature's creations and, life itself. It's about an hour drive from Brisbane towards the Gold coast (Find the map here). I discovered this place with my family a few years back, when we noticed there was a mysterious trail heading up into a cute little mountain. Once you start the trail, it's a beautiful journey around the mountain overlooking the ocean and the waves crashing into the rocks below.
White and mesh
1 Dec 2014

This summer has been so far blistering hot in Brisbane… and like most of us fashion enthusiasts, I'm sure 'stylish comfort' is ideal for every outfit. I think I did well with this one, layering my cotton singlet crop top with a matching mesh top from Supre, but here is a similar one from ASOS. It seems so simple wearing all white….but it isn't. Not entirely because of its likeliness to become somewhat dirty, but ‘matching’ whites seem to be quite a mission. You've got your dirty whites, white whites, your ivory but it seems whites, and creamy whites. UGH. Luckily my white midi zipper skirt from Ses fashion matched up perfectly with my top; this way my outfit kind of looked like a one piece dress! This season I am inloveeee with midi skirts, ESPECIALLY with slits and splits. Here’s a similar one I found from Dissh. Did I mention I’m in love with wearing white and mesh too?? I have been inspired by The Haute Pursuit who I absolutely adore! This bangin' gal rocked a more sports luxe look wearing a front split skirt and a jersey mesh top.
